Check out our add-on options below for extending your child’s day at Preschool. It’s called Preschool Plus and it’s a flexible way to give your child additional time at preschool.

*Your child must be fully potty-trained prior to attending.

To determine which class your child would be in, we follow the Prince William Public School policy of September 30th as the cut-off date for class enrollment.

For example:
Birthday before September 30, 2021: Three year old class
Birthday before September 30, 2020: Four year old class

PRESCHOOL PLUS (Tuesday through Friday)

We’re excited to offer an innovative solution for parents of three- and four-year olds who feel their children aren’t quite ready for a full-day preschool experience every day of the week. With Preschool Plus, you have the option of choosing to enroll your three- and four-year old child in 2, 3, or 4 additional afternoons each week, Tuesday through Friday, depending on their class schedule.

Once you’ve chosen your child’s afternoons, we do not allow switching your child from those days—this provides a cohesive educational experience for the child and teacher alike!

Preschool Plus Options and Fees

2 Afternoons: 12 - 3 pm — $150/month
3 Afternoons: 12 - 3 pm — $175/month
4 Afternoons: 12 - 3 pm — $200/month

ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
All full-day classes (including Preschool Plus) participate in five 30-minute long Enrichment Classes each week. There is no additional cost for this Program! We’re still finalizing the kinds of classes we offer but an example is found below:

  1. STEAM: STEAM is an educational approach that incorporates the arts into the more-familiar STEM model, which includes science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

  2. MOVEMENT: a dance-oriented - though more than just dance! - class led by a trained dance instructor, Mrs. Dawson. MOVEMENT encourages children to develop large motor skills and balance, both of which are important for early development.

  3. COOKING: Yes, cooking! We will teach children how to cook while making the connections between science and food preparation - and best of all, it’s a blast!

  4. MUSIC: Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.

  5. PEE WEE FITNESS: Physical education is about more than games and sports, it instills a stronger sense of self-worth in children, leading them to be more confident, assertive, emotionally stable, independent and self-controlled. Physical activity can also provide an outlet for releasing tension and anxiety.

WEEKLY CHAPEL

Building upon our Christian foundations, we offer Chapel on a weekly basis each Wednesday led by Pastor Eric. Our goal is to give your child an age-appropriate overview of the Christian story and its meaning for them in a fun, interactive environment.
